Hello Worshippers! Love is in the air! In just a few days, people around the world will be celebrating Valentine’s Day, a special occasion dedicated to honoring significant others, showering them with affection, and remembering the reasons they fell in love. Whether you join in this celebration or not, it’s always wonderful to take a moment to appreciate the ones we love! With that in mind, I’d like to invite you to help me celebrate the lover of our souls, Jesus Christ! Whenever you read this, whether before, during, or after Valentine’s Day, take a moment to express your love to Him!
My spiritual father, Prophet Shyju Mathew, has recently released a song titled “Restore My First Love.” Available across all platforms, including YouTube Music, this song is truly unique. It is an invitation to the bride of Christ to rekindle our first love. This song’s release couldn’t have come at a more perfect time!
Today, as you read this blog, take a moment to remind yourself why you fell in love with Jesus, why you chose to live for Him and serve Him, and why you left the world behind to follow Him. Reflect on that initial encounter when nothing else mattered but Him—when you realized you couldn’t live without Him. Over time, familiarity can lead us to overlook the small acts of kindness and support from our significant other. We forget when we used to clear snow off our cars alone, brew our own tea, do our laundry, and take out the trash by ourselves. Now, we often take for granted having someone who lovingly helps with these tasks. Similarly, we sometimes forget how good Jesus has been to us and the depth of His love throughout our lives.
Today, the Lord Jesus has shown His love to us by filling our lungs with breath, offering us salvation, and providing His Holy Spirit as our guide. These are expressions of His love that we often overlook! He has showered us with love in countless ways, keeping us in His thoughts every moment. His love knows no bounds and is truly worth celebrating! So, let’s take a moment today to thank Him and express our love in return. I hope you can find time to do so.
much love,
Shéshé Evans
